Beaver Baseball takes down New Castle in 2022 season opener

On a chilly afternoon, the Beaver Bobcats opened up their 2022 season with a 10-8 come from behind victory over the Hurricanes of New Castle. The defending PIAA Class 4A State Champions would trail the Bobcats 5-2 before storming back to take an 8-5 lead but the Beaver offense would not stay quiet for too long. The Bobcats scored 5 runs in the final innings to take a 10-8 lead and closed out the game behind some clutch pitching and defense.
Neshannock HS will serve as the host site on Wednesday, March 30th as the Bobcats take on the Hurriances in the 2nd game of their home/away series. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm.
