Yesterday at WPIAL Cross Country Finals Ella Andrew and Constantina led the Lady Bobcats to a 2nd place finish thus qualifying our girls for the state finals next weekend. In beautiful weather conditions Ella placed 11th with a time 20:13. Close behind her was Danica Purtell in 14th. Finishing out our top 5 were Rylie Teapole-20th, Alli Tate-24th and Constantina-29th. Our freshmen girls, Esa Tate and Camdyn Jeffers were 40th & 81st.
The boys team placed 10th out of 37 teams and were very close to qualifying 2 individual runners.
Connor Young and Tyler Biss placed 34th & 35th in the same time of 17:54. Just missing being in the top 20 individuals by 2 and 3 places by 4 seconds.
