This past weekend Ella Andrew proved that she’s one of the top runners from western Pennsylvania. At the Pre-State meet she placed 8th in the AA race with a time of 20:00. She led our Lady Cats to a 3rd place finish overall. There were 50 schools in the AA race with over 250 runners at the start. The rest of our girls were in close chase behind Ella and fought all the way to the finish. They were Rylie Teapole-23rd, Alli Tate-32nd, Danica Purtell-33rd, Esa Tate-74th, Constantina Krzeczowski-89th and freshman new comer Camdyn Jeffers-182.
Our boys fought as hard in their race. They placed 8th against 48 teams. They were led by Eli Bechdel in a time of 17:38 and 35th place. Behind him was Tyler Biss-56th, Connor Young-75th, Eli Priest-84th, Dom Bumblis-100th, Cannon Hoback-165th and Noah Lytle-195th.
Their next meet will be Tuesday against Ambridge and West Allegheny @ WA.
