Throwback Mentality, desire to win allows Ringer to thrive in new role for Beaver Area

After switching from running back to quarterback last winter, Beaver Area's Wyatt Ringer has found a way to create a huge impact and lead his team to the postseason.

Two weeks remain in the 2021 WPIAL football season, and the stretch run is picking up.

All but a few teams are still alive for a trip on the Highway to Heinz.

Exclusive coverage of the 2021 WPIAL football playoffs begins on Trib HSSN when we unveil the playoff brackets at 7 p.m. Nov. 1.

The Bobcats will travel to The Pit to take on Aliquippa on Friday, October 1st. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.

Presale tickets will go on sale 10:00am on Wednesday, September 29th and run through 1:00pm Friday in the Beaver athletic office. Prices are:

• Adult - $6
• Student - $3

Only 600 tickets will be available for purchase. 

• All spectators will be required to wear a face covering.

LET'S GO BOBCATS!

• The stadium entrance has been moved to the end of the student parking lot which is located just passed the high school driveway. All tickets must be purchased at this entrance. The old main entrance behind the press box is for pre-sold tickets and passes only.

• Visiting bleachers are to the left when you enter through the main entrance.

• Tickets will be available at the gate. All tickets at the gate will be $5.00

• Please be aware that Hopewell Township has passed an ordinance that there will be no parking on the side streets near the high school during the football games. All violators will be ticketed and/or towed.

• There will be a shuttle for fans that will run from the Hopewell Shopping Center (behind Fox's Pizza) from 6:00pm until the start of the game and back after the game. 

Beaver's own Wyatt Ringer, is on the 2021 Mr. PA Football ballot for the Tremendous Twenty-Five. Fans can vote through Thursday, January 20th and vote as often as they like. Click on the link below and help Wyatt earn this great honor!
